  23. Thank you for your response to my link regarding text wrapping in TTextEdit
  24. items, in which you pointed out that you were aware of the problem, but were
  25. unable to fix it at this time.

  27. I am aware of the enormous pressure the MacApp group is under to get 2.0 final
  28. finished and out the door.  Clearly, in order to make this happen, the feature
  29. set must eventually be frozen, locking out some features — no matter how good
  30. those features might be (like …ahem… scaleable views).
  31.  
  32. Humans are amazingly adaptable creatures.  This adaptability is reflected in
  33. (or perhaps even caused by) an even more amazing ability to take things for
  34. granted.  At one level, MacAppers are a fanatic bunch, boring their co-workers
  35. breathless with all of the advantages of MacApp — "look at all of the this I
  36. get without additional programming!"  Yet at the same time, these same
  37. MacAppers excoriate Apple for every absent feature.
  38.  
  39. Here's a good New Year's Resolution for all MacAppers to make:
  40.     • I will try not to bore my co-workers with sermons on the virtues of
  41. MacApp, and
  42.     • I will try not to vilify Apple for its sins of omission.
  43.  
  44. All that being said, I'd like to ask my original question again (as we seem to
  45. have gone off on a tangent since I asked it the first time):

  47.     How can one make the text wrap properly at the edges of the TTextEdit
  48. control?
